TREND SETTING

The trends are set for Spring / Summer 2008 and so are we, through the rough cold winters looking forward towards the warmth of the summer.
Every year the skin gets better and better and mimicking natural skin is part of the game. Ace makeup artists like Pat McGrath, Tom Pecheux, Charlotte Tilbury, Val Garland, Polly Osmond and the famous M.A.C artists {with so much of history behind Estee’s business tactics} are playing their part in improvising the skin texture and going from absolutely natural looks to something avante garde.
Let it be the poetic appeal of Nina Ricci by Olivier Theysekens or the neo-modernism of Prada, an ovation to Avril Lavigne at Anna Sui or the Chinese theatre at Dior, makeup artists are building the future of the fashion industry. As trends get hotter and better day by day, so do the products and the makeup companies.
Makeup mavericks like Max Factor and Nars have always been developing makeup for goddesses globally but these days so do Benefit, Urban decay, Hard Candy and M.A.C. the new formulations go better than their predecessors and the beauty industry has started boasting new dimensions.

With so many things happening way before the invitation of the spring, I’m sure we’ll be able to pick some great trends and some looks for the Summer 2008..

Ciao
