It’s Revlon time…

I hate to admit or confess and request people not to feel bad about my opinions against Revlon. I never liked the brand much because Revlon never gave me the payoff I wanted. Their foundations were once upon a time too pink or horribly color mismatched, powders were chalky and lipglosses vanished as soon as applied. This was my view with Revlon…….

But its changed now….thanks to Gucci Westman taking up the position of International Artistic director for Revlon. I guess the hay days of Revlon have come back. It's a Revlon Revolution. Gucci, previously handled luxury brand Lancôme and gave us some mesmerizing moments and now with her contract over with them, has started sharing her expertise with Revlon. Gucci Westman is known to be a backstage staple for big fashion brands like Oscar De La Renta, Rag&Bone and so many more. Each season she creates some amazing trends that give a new perspective to fashionistas and makeup addicts. She is also famous for her shoots in uber cool fashion forward magazines like Vogue, Elle and Marie Claire.

I could rave more about her and her work but that's not the scope of this article. What I liked in Revlon is their new range of Mattes for lips, cheeks and eyes. Never has "mattes" looked so good in the affordable range. I was startled to see the formulas looking so good on hand and face and I couldn't believe my eyes.

Note: - these are the shades found in India and there are many more but not launched in India.

Revlon says: -

"the first complete range that comprises of lip, face and eye products. It is concise yet versatile color collection of silky soft matte based formulas that create a contemporary glamorous look.
Experience the Matte Look with the new color collection.
