Newly found freshness PART 2

As said, here comes the first attempt of the ultimate nude look. Nude look also interprets as no-makeup look and we incorporate lots of flesh and earth tones to play with lights and shadows, give the face its enhanced dimensions, take away or try erasing flaws and of course impart a youthful glow.

  • You can easily go wrong and/or go over the top
  • You get easily tempted to pile up more product forgetting the fact that this is supposed to be a no-makeup look
  • You might end up enhancing features that you want to hide by over the board contouring and highlighting
  • The look easily tends to go cakey
  • Always the products chosen for a no makeup look are wrong and the attempt to put them in minuscles makes it frustrating and the time required for no-makeup look blending is more until you practise.

LOVE AND TLC of NO-Makeup Look

  • It isnt time consuming if practised well and used everyday.
  • You'll lve your flawless self.
  • Its a minimal investment with maximal returns.
  • You can actually make a statement with the no-makeup look as it is feasible anywhere and everywhere.
  • It takes just three strokes to convert a minimal no-makeup look to an evening or a party look. Yes!! just 3 strokes. (shall discuss them in the coming article)
  • Your face is potraited at its best and its a look that can never go wrong until you desire.

Look #1

Apply your favorite tinted moisturizer as a substitute to your favorite foundation. Dab a large pea size amount on your face and blend outwards and downwards from the centre of your face. I recommend Clinique's Moisture Surge Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15 INR 1600 for a dewy finish. Then dab your favorite concealer (YSL Touche Eclat) with illuminating properties in the under eye area, around the nose. If you have blemishes you can conceal them if you like with on-the-spot correcting and concealing or leave it for the skin to look see through. I dont recommend the latter though. Seeing the Indian climate and monsoons, one needs to keep a compact or blotting powder or blotting papers handy.

Use your favorite cheek/lipstain or else a glossy lipstick which also works as a blush or a cream blush which also works as a lipstick. Stila's one step primer is the best in this category as it also works on eyes and so are Shiseido's Accentuating Sticks, Nars Multiple and the cult fav Benetint from Benefit Cosmetics.

Use a flesh colored eyeshadow that matches the color of your lids with a bit of shimmer. MAC's Sable, Clinique's Foxy and Twiglet are some of such colors. You can get some amazing nudes and neutrals in the Inglot cosmetics palette and also from Estee Lauder and Bourjois. Use a lash lengthening barely there mascara like Clinique's Lash Power mascara for a clean eye look. Skip the eye liner or fill in the inner rims with a yellow or peach colored liner to create bright looking eyes-effect.

Its uber-natural and uber chic. Some more such look and inspirations to follow. So keep reading.............
