Party Preps!!

I bought the new Too Faced Sweet Dreams Palette and couldn't resist doing night party look with it. I bought this palette from Kamya Sangodkar from the Beauty Bar, Andheri. You will find the swatches on her blog here.

This is a versatile palette and has got all the colors one could possibly dream of having in a palette. Its quite user friendly and has all types of textures from mattes to frosts to duo chromes to dazzling shimmers. What I also loved from the collection was the chocolate scented matte cocoa colored bronzer. It sculpts the face well and smells so yummy.

Lets get onto the look,

  • Clarins Instant Smooth Perfect Touch primer
  • Clinique Superbalanced Makeup Foundation
  • Clinique All About Eyes Concealer
  • Clinique Blended Face Powder
  • Contour the cheeks with Chocolate Soleil bronzer
  • Add color with matte Cocoa Rose blush and highlight with Candle light glow
  • Shiseido The Makeup Lipgloss in G27

  • Too Faced Shadow Insurance used as a primer.
  • MAC Paint pot in Quite Natural on the entire lid, softly diffused into the crease.
  • Line upper lash line with Bourjois Effet Smoky eye pencil in Ultra Black
  • I used all the shadows marked in the picture above, so I will mention them the way I placed them in the look. 'Smolder' was used on the outer corners of lower and upper lid and then using MAC 217 blended into outer crease.
  • On the entire crease with MAC 224 'Nice ash' was applied. Its a soft dove grey with metallic effect.
  • On the lower lash line I used Cop a Teal and smoked it with MAC 219
  • On the upper lid I used 'Label Whore' blending into the crease.
  • To add soft highlights I applied Satin sheets on the brow bone and inner corners
  • I traced the inner rims of the lower lid with Bourjois eye pencil.
  • With Loreal Carbon black liquid liner I traced the upper lash line and created a wing. I also sharpened the inner corners with the liquid liner.
  • I applied dollops of Clinique High Lengths Mascara on upper and lower lashes.

I hope you liked the look.
