The Enchanted Night series.....Silver Woods

This is an inspiration from the elves and forests of Rivendell from The Lord of the Rings. I could imagine Arwen floating through the forests bathed in silvery glow due to the moon rays in winters where autum has wiped off the trees foliage and a gloomy snow sets in. This look has a bit of dark edge (although the look was shot in daylight) and the silver is a bit gloomy.

I have used theBalm cosmetics Shady Lady Vol.2 palette for this dark and mysterious look. The rest of the face is bare with slight sepia colored contour and the lips are drenched with mocha glace.

Lets see how to do the look,

  • Clinique Superbalanced Makeup
  • Clinique All About Eyes concealer
  • Clinique Blended Face Powder
  • Clinique Almost Bronzer SPF 15 in Light/Medium
  • Calvin Klein Blush in Foolish
  • MAC Powder blush in Gana
  • Estee Lauder Signature Lipstick in Mocha
  • Clinique Long last lipgloss SPF 15 in Knockout Nude

  • Primer the lids with TFSI and on the lid upto the crease apply MAC Paint pot in Quite Natural.
  • Blend Lancome Eye pencil in Black Strass after tracing it on the upper lash line. The little flecks of silver in this pencil look gorgeous.
  • On the outer corners, crease and lower lid blend theBalm cosmetics eyeshadow in 'Caught in the act Courtney' a shimmery warm bronze brown with flecks of gold.
  • Deepen the crease with MAC eyeshadow in Dark Edge.
  • On the entire lid, blend Insane Jane which is a taupe based silver brown. Over it dust silver flecks from MAC mineralize eyeshadow in Blue Sorcery
  • Highlight the brow bone subtly and also the inner corners with 'Tempting Tara' eyeshadow which is frosted white.
  • Line the inner rims of the lower lid with Chambor Dazzle liner in Black Dazzle.
  • Comb the lashes with Clinique High Lengths mascara.
  • Define the brows with 'Dark edge' eyeshadow and tame stray hair.
Some more pics.

This is the first look from the Enchanted Night collection. These are vivid imaginations encircling the magic of a wintry night. Hope you like the looks.
