A night in the RAIN FOREST

This look in my 'Enchanted night' series is truly fit for a princess in an evening ball who would don mint green or powdered blue gowns. The look gets inspired from the interplay of moonlight with foliage of evergreen forests. Green, blue and purple are my favorite colors so you'd see a lot of looks encircling these colors.

Don't mind me looking a bit tired and lost in the picture and somehow the lights have gotten a bit blurred but let it be a part of the look. Pictures may not be sharp and perfect. LOL. Btw I have use theBalm cosmetics Shady Lady vol.2 palette with a mish mash of other colors to create this look.

Lets get to the look,

FACE

  • Max Factor Second Skin foundation
  • Bourjois Anti-cernes pinceau concealer
  • Clinique Blended Face Powder
  • Nars Orgasm Illuminator
  • MAC Blush in Hipness and Gana
LIPS
  • Clinique Chubby stick in Mega Melon
EYES

  • Nars Smudgeproof eyeshadow primer as base for shadows to glide and stay put longer.
  • Girlactik Eyeshadow in Satin used a highlighter under the brow and in the inner corners.
  • Trace the upper lash line with Bourjois Khol and Contour pencil in Brun Design and blend with MAC 219 brush.
  • With a dome shaped crease brush apply theBalm cosmetics eyeshadow in Fiesty felicia (blackened purple plum with silver flecks that tend to splatter hither thither) on the outer corners and drag into the crease. I darkened the outer corners with a bit of Bourjois Intense eyeshadow in Extrait 10.
  • Apply Makeout Mary (khaki olive green) all over the lid and blend it into the crease color.
  • I applied Mint Green shimmery pigment from MAC Surf Baby collectio onto the impression of the eyeball on the lid and also in the inner corners and inner third of lower lid while I smoked out the purple on the lower lid.
  • Curl lashes with Shiseido Eyelash curler and apply layers of Max Factor False lash effect mascara to get flattering lashes.
  • Tame brows with clear brow gel without filling up any color.

I opted for a peachy dewy blush and melon color for lips. What would you do?

Till then,
