Day Dreamers.......Delicate Nuances

With 'Newly found freshness' I was always inspired to create breezy and accentuating makeup looks that reveals a purely form of art. As you know makeup is all about hiding the nooks and flaws and revealing your true skin but enhanced.

Urban Decay Naked Palette is famous for many reasons and one of them is ability to create soft natural smokey eyes by layering the colors over each other like an overdance. For me this spring, makeup is all about soft focusing a la Marilyn Monroe, who was known for her glowing complexion, to J Lo who with collaboration of Scott Barnes got her famous glow. I loved the way Mally Roncal helps everyone to create that soft focus which is incredibly glamorous especially when you take photos. (Does not mean oily sheen).
The best part is you need only 3 eyeshadows, 1 eye liner, 1 mascara, 1 blush and 1 gloss to do this look.

Lets see how to get the look,

FACE

  • MAC Pro Longwear foundation
  • MAC mineralize skin finish, applied with damp duo fiber brush for subtle sheen
  • Shiseido Natural Creamy concealer
  • Clinique True Bronzer in Sunswept
LIPS
  • Lancome Juicy Tubes in Pamplemousse
EYES

  • TFSI on lids for long lasting eyeshadow base.
  • On the outer half of upper lash line trace Bourjois Khol Contour pencil in Brun Design. Also trace the lower inner rims.
  • On the outer corners apply UD Darkhorse and blend it gently in the crease. Also smoke it out on outer half of lower lid merging it with the pencil.
  • Highlight inner corners and brow bone with UD Sin.
  • Gently dab UD Sidecar on entire lid and also inner half of lower lids.
  • Curl lashes and apply Clinique High Lengths mascara generously.
More pics,

I have done a similar look in post called Sheer Translucency, though those colors were warmer while these are cool neutrals with nuances and accents of beige, grey and taupe.
Hope you like this look.

Till then,

Ciao
