The Leprechaun Party

To continue with the 'Bevy of Envy' series which also coincided with St.Patrick's day I present another look with greens. Here's my story........

I was inspired by mystical greens that spelled serenity and divinity through a smokey eye without looking evil or wicked. This is one of the multiple facets a green color has. Green could be jealousy or evil but at the same time it could be prosperity or divine.

Lets get to the look............

Conceal under eyes with a concealer which is half a shade lighter than your skin tone. This awakens and illuminates the eye. Dont go very light or else it would turn ashy.

Prime the eye lids to secure the eyeshadow and make it stay put longer. Pat with fingers and spread evenly to prevent it from drying unevenly.

Apply MAC Paint pot in Groundwork for the eyeshadows to adhere better.

Apply Bourjois Khol and Contour pencil in Vert Expressif on the upper lash line and blend it with a pencil brush to soften the edges. This adds some depth to the eye makeup.

Apply Too Faced eyeshadow in Lucky Charm ( from the Insurancy Policy palette) over the entire lid and blend the eyeshadow upto the crease to smoke it out into the brow bone.

Thinly apply the same green eyeshadow on lower lids and smoke it out.

Highlight the brow bone with Glamazon. Highlight the inner corners with Boytoy eyeshadow, both from Too Faced. Tame the brows and fill in MAC Dark Edge eyeshadow in it while setting it with brow gel. Also curl the lashes at this point.

Apply Too Faced eyeshadow in Exclusive shade on the outer one third of the lids and blend it into the crease. This is done to add subtle depths and not make the crease too obviously cut.

Trace the inner rims with Vert Expressif pencil. I skipped black to keep the look less intense.

Apply 2-3 coats of Estee Lauder Double Wear Lengthening Mascara in Black. I love the vinyl finish and glossy effect I get with this mascara.

And here is the finishes look. This look is the easiest and the quickest to do if you have all the right makeup tools. Pair it with a rose colored cream blush (or powder blush) and slick on some pink berry lipgloss.
