The Makeup Story : The Haul!

Prepping for a beauty shoot is not an easy affair. Sometime even after having MACs and Inglots in your stash and Lancome, Clinique, Dior, NARS, BH cosmetics etc. you still do need something here and there.
I made a list and picked up all the things that were not included as usual. With spending up a whopping Rs.7500 approx. I had crossed my budget severely but this was a future investment.

Lets see the haul................

I got a lovely vanity case in a very bright color favorite of the Beauty Traveller from Beauty Palace at Crawford market. I had my Kryolan one but I wanted something that was jazzy and mood uplifting. Here are some pictures that I would like to share.

Vanity Case from Beauty Palace 1700 INR

I loved the interlocking straps which look elegant. There is a shoulder strap too which looks very very elegant and is helpful in case your hands are occupied.

It has lovely compartments and can store a lot many products. Actually since it is so beautiful and delicate I am going to reserve it for special occasions and celebrities only. I could fit in a lot of stuff which I shall post in the next and upcoming posts. The inner part if made of acrylic and cardboard and can be removed from the main casing. It is all in faux croc leather and looks quite fancy and expensive. The other color option I had was a shocking pink and French Vanilla with a floral print. Really lovely.

These are the products that I got from Beauty Palace and Beauty Centre at Crawford market. They have been purchased by me (exclusive of the samples) and contain stuff preliminarily for personal as well as professional use. I had made a list of things but hardly picked up what I wanted as the budget went haywire. I got those lovely face paints from craft store next door to Beauty Palace.

In this picture you see : -
  • Makeup wipes
  • Eyelash glue in very matte dark black
  • Artmatic lashes
  • Kryolan Glitter gel glue
  • Bourjois Volume Glamour max definition mascara
  • VOV eye and lip makeup remover (its horrible, threw it the next day. Stings in the eyes and does not feel safe)
  • Freeman Cucumber peel off mask (as used by Michelle Phan)
  • Bourjois Flower foundations samples
  • Bourjois Light eyeshadows in 02 and 03
  • Maybelline Colorama Nail polishes
  • Bourjois Lipgloss sample (which got lost somewhere as well)

In this picture : -
  • Maybelline Color changing lipbalms
  • Bourjois Flower Perfection foundation samples
  • Bourjois Flower Perfection primer
  • Lakme Nail polishes
  • Kryolan HD Micropalette (its amazing)
  • Alfa glitters (for Rs.55 they are a steal)

In this picture you see : -
  • Sunshine cotton pads (used in most of amazing stores)
  • Costume face paints (silicone based, water washable)

I hope you liked the haul. This is the second part of the story. There is more to come.

Till then,

Ciao
