Smoke in Nudes!!

I am extremely sorry and shall be so for sometime as I am doing makeup to a celeb (related to Bollywood whose name cannot be disclosed) and have to run down to her place more than 5 times a week. Since no internet I cannot post and really sorry for that.

The post of today is actually an old post when I got my Naked Palette. I was requested by many to do a tutorial so I made another post with a lot of improvements. Since so many out there are inspired by the Naked and Naked 2 palette, I will be doing a lot of looks with these palettes till end of summer.

I used the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette to create this look. The best part is, if muted down this can be a day look and just by darkening and smoking it up it could turn into a night look.

Colors marked with a pink star is what I have used.

So lets see how to do this look..........

Begin with concealing the under eye area with a long lasting yellow based concealer to alleviate the look of dark circles. I encourage using dabbing motions to discourage fluid retention and facilitate lymphatic drainage. Using 217 brush gives amazing results.

Prime the lids so that the eyeshadows stay put better. Shape and fill in the brows to create dimension.

Apply BUSTED eyeshadow on the outer half of the upper lid and blend it into the crease.

Apply TEASE eyeshadow in the crease to soften the color. I used my favorite 217 brush for better results. You can also use a dupe from Sigma for the same.

Apply BLACKOUT eyeshadow on the outer corners for adding depth and dimension to the look.

Create a mirrored effect on the lower lids. Smoke out BUSTED on the outer half with a pencil brush and apply BLACK OUT on the outer most corners. This creates a lovely almond shape.

Line the lash line and inner corners with BLACKOUT eyeshadow with an angled brush

Apply SUSPECT eyeshadow on the inner half of the lid. I just love the way this eyeshadow looks. Perfect Greige tone is what is nice for a sophisticated look.

Apply TEASE a bit more for definition and creating a higher crease.

Curl lashes with eye lash curler and apply 4-5 coats of Bourjois Volume Glamour MAX definition mascara in Black for amazing lashes.

Apply mascara on lower lashes. This step can be skipped though for a wide eyed look.

Highlight the inner corners with VERVE eyeshadow to add a glamorous touch.

Add a lovely coral pink blush for the spring flush and dab on some shiny coral gloss to complete the look. Since the eyes are so versatile, any cheek-lip combination would look picture perfect.
