The beauty shot is all about natural glowing skin and beautifully framed eyes. Since the model had a lovely honey toned skin, the makeup done was warm with subtle facial highlights. Its an enhancement of the model's natural beauty.
So lets see how to get the look.....
How to get that flawless skin (products are mentioned in BOLD) : -
- Exfoliate the facial skin so that the foundation gets a smooth surface to sit on and moisturize with an oil free moisturizer like Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel. I applied a primer to cover up the pores and fine lines and create a smooth canvas, by using Smashbox Photofinish Light Primer.
- I used Kryolan Supra color foundation palette with FS26 and applied on the areas where she needed a bit of coverage. Rest of the face was done with Stila One Step foundation in TAN which I bought from www.strawberrynet.com.
- Since Kryolan Supra foundation gives excellent coverage I skipped the concealer. With Kryolan Translucent Powder in TL 4 I powdered the areas of her face which could naturally get shiny, sparing the cheek area for a dewy finish.
- I contoured her face contours, under the cheek bones, under the jaw line, bridge of the nose, sides of the temples and at the hairline with a subtle dusting of Benefit Hoola Bronzer. To create a lit within effect I dusted Smashbox Fusion Softlights in Dusk on the heights of cheeks, centre of nose and forehead.
- For eyes, I prepped the lids with NARS Pro prime smudgeproof eyeshadow base. Then with Bourjois 16hr Kohl and contour liner in Brun Design I traced the upper lash line and blended with a pencil shadow brush. On the lower lash line, I traced the brown liner on the outer third and smoked it out.
- Then MAC Remotely Grey was applied in the crease to deepen the eye socket subtly. As a highlighter I used MAC Daisychain eyeshadow and MAC Shore leave was used in the inner corners. On the entire lid, I lightly dusted MAC Sable eyeshadow. Curled the lashes with Oriflame eyelash curler and applied 2 coats of Revlon Grow Luscious mascara in Blackest Black. The Brows were groomed and filled in with MAC Dark Edge eyeshadow. Since the model had lovely brows, there was a minimal coloring that was done. The brow hairs were tamed with MAC Brow Gel.
- Lips were exfoliated and then I applied Clinique Superbalm Moisturizing Lipgloss in Ginger.
