This look is inspired from a series of Lisa Eldridge videos that showed an influence of a beautiful smokey eye with coppery sparkles. Instead of the classic look what Lisa Eldridge did, I opted for reddened bronze sparkles and some gold sparkles in the inner corners.

I was also inspired by smelting of metals and the splinters that fly hither thither. Hope this one makes sense. Btw I must say that the glitter I have used is dirt cheap and yet photographs immensely well.

So lets see how to do this look.............

Begin with a clean canvas. Conceal the under eye area.

Prime the lids with an eyeshadow primer so that the eyeshadow and the glitters have a base to stick on.

Tame the eye brows and fill them in with MAC eyeshadow in Dark Edge. With a spoolie brush comb through the brow hair and set them in place with Brow Gel for a longer lasting, fine looking brow.

Line the lash line crudely with Bourjois Smokey Effet Ultra Black eyeliner pencil.

Smudge the liner before it sets. Also apply in the inner rims of lower lids and smoke it out.

Apply MAC Ochre Style eyeshadow in the crease

Apply MAC eyeshadow in Buckwheat on the outer corners and the inner corners and blend them although keeping a space in between.

Join the inner and outer bronzy darkness with MAC Remotely Grey.

Apply Kryolan Glitter Glue on the inner half of the eye lid to enable the glitter to stay put and prevent major fallouts.

Before applying glitter curl the lashes and apply single coat of  Bourjous Volume Glamour Ultra black mascara on the top and bottom lashes.

Apply Reddened Bronze glitter on the inner half of the lid where the glitter glue was applied. This also increases the impact of the glitters and gives it a foiled appearance.

In the FINISHED look I did apply some golden glitter as well. These glitters are available at Beauty Palace in Crawford market and are called Alfa  Glitters. They have four colors and all are must buys.

Keep the rest of the face matte if you want to play up the eyes. I prefer keeping it a bit dewy for a soft focus effect. This makes the wearer look mesmerizing and heavenly.
