Just some suede!!

This is just a basic day look with some really long lashes and a lovely cat eye liner to create an elongated eye. This is almost contrasting to the theme of makeup I did in the last post where I created round looking eyes.
This is a perfect office wear makeup look and can be donned for other occasions too, even for a Christian Wedding makeup.

So lets see how to do this plain and simple eye makeup look...........

For a clean canvas conceal the under eyes with a yellow or peach colored concealer and prime the lids with an eyeshadow primer to make eyeshadows and eye pencils glide smoothly and stay on longer.

Comb the brows and fill them where needed. Apply a wash of Stila Kitten eyeshadow on the entire lid, diffusing it into the brow bone. This step is enough to open up the eyes and just one shadow can create a dramatic effect, especially when anyone has a mono lid.

With Illamasqua Vernau, apply the warm suede brown on the inner and outer corners and then blend it into the crease. This step adds dimension to the look.

Deepen the crease with MAC Smut eyeshadow and trace the lash line with Clinique Brush on Cream liner in True Black. I love the little flick on the outer corners as it opens up the eyes and gives them a lift.

To enhance the eye shape and elongate the eyes, also trace a small line on the outer corners of the lower lids and make the two lines intersect.

Curl lashes with eye lash curler and apply 2-3 coats of defining mascara like Edward Bess Bess Lash mascara in Ultra black. Its another boudoir kind of mascara and will be reviewed soon.

You can define the facial contours with a matte bronzer or just complete the look with a matte peach blush. For the lips opt for warm matte or shimmery browns or deeper reds to give it a glam up effect.

  3. Hi Neeraj, Very nice look especially for day wear. your post on eyeshadows are also very nice. I am very new to eye makeups, but your ideas make them easy for me to try new looks.
I would like to have your advice about some eyepencil or eyeliners for me. I have used chambor dazzling eyeliner pencil in black and maybelline collosal kajal (6hr) as well but nothing seems to work for me. whichever eyeliner i apply they tend to smudge after 15-20 mins. I want a brand within 1000-1200 bucks which gives me a long lasting and smudge free result . Also it would be great if you suggest some colors in eyeliners which would suit my wheatish complexion. Thanks in advance.

    1. Thanks for reading my posts. Its very difficult to find liners that really stay.Chambor Tattoo liners are good and if you want to go for higher brands I think Lancome's waterproof pencil and Estee lauder's double wear pencil in black onyx r the best....try before u buy!
