Best Buys for October 2012

Sincere apologies for the long hiatus from blogging and beauty travelling. Sometimes one is not competent enough to face the realities of life and is emotionally drained due to these untoward circumstances. Haven't come out completely yet but still in better composure to write a post.

October is one of the months where I generally get very busy thanks to the festive season and pouring of brides. Its one of my least favorite months as the climate plays hide and seek with heat and cold thence the afternoons smothered by scorching sun and evenings giving a shivery chill in the spine (exaggeration). From the beauty news, a lot of launches coming for the fall season just as the holiday begins. Waiting to pounce and devour some of the most amazing holiday palettes (some will be in the Giveaway too.)

Anyways lets see what new things I saw and I got in October ..................

  1.  Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Range                                                                                                      With a custom made range to cater dry, combination and oily range, this is the newest and most promising line from Arden. They just have everything right from cleansers, toner, moisturizers, sunscreens, masks, eye creams, scrubs and even a serum and a serum primer. Arden just nailed it in the beauty market and there is a line that shows "Visible Difference" in 7 days of application as per their claims. I have used samplers for the oily skin products and loved them and would purchase.
  2. Guerlain Fall Collection 2012                                                                                                                  Guerlain always offers rich and luxurious collections whichever season it is and this isnt an exception either. The collection is gorgeous especially with the introduction of Rouge G L'Extrait glosses. These are matte and very soft glosses coming in neutral and red tones and just do wonders to the lips. It could be called as a liquid lipstick than gloss. While the blush duos are so so, the eyeshadow palette has beautiful array of warm colors to warm up your complexion in the Fall season.
  3. Clarins Double Serum                                                                                                                         Clarins is launching their Double Serum, a powerful serum targeting anti-ageing. With a huge launch nationwide (coming soon) and that too for a product that is so appealing esthetically as well ingredients-wise, there is another ray of hope for targeting ageing. Plus my lovely readers have a chance to use it (only lucky 100 whom I will send personal invites) as soon as I get the PR.
  4. Maybelline Color Tattoos have been the biggest talk of the town and trust me I swear to own all the colors (right now I have a teal and bronze). They maybe drier relatives of their brethren in MAC, the Paint pots, but they do a lovely performance when applied solo on the lids. I have a lot of hopes from Maybelline and I am sure they would get nicer colors in the array they already have.
Anyways this is the brief news I have to share. Will come with some amazing reviews and looks for the festive season soon.

Till then,

Ciao
