Hauled Again!!

I sometime share the hauls I do and I think its fun (although there's no point flaunting all this especially when you are in the makeup industry and a pro makeup artist too). There are many many products that I got but due to some emergency bridal stuff had to use almost 1/3rd of stuff and thence did not picture them. I shall mention the products that I used for bridals (I am too lazy to remove them out of the vanity which is separate for bridal works) and that are brand new. Also in the pictures there are few products that might end up as GIVEAWAYs so do keep waiting.

This is not the haul (LOL). This is just one hexagonal eye I did for time pass and that too on bare skin without any concealing n all.........

Please note that I may not be able to give all the details now as I want to also review some of the products. I shall be buying more of Kryolan and MAC foundations and shall start reviewing all of it soon.

2 Max Factor Elixir Lipsticks in ROSEWOOD ( a lovely light brown rosy nude) and MAROON DUST (Burnt soft brown with an orangey tone, doesn't look or even go near a maroon).

Then I got 2 Kryolan Lip Pencils in 191 and 908. They are uber dry and that spells that they would be long lasting. Good to match red and red tones and the best part is that they are very very economical.

Also got a much needed Prune (plum) and Rouge (dark red) from Bourjois for Rs. 220 (from Beautiful, Andheri) to create pouted red lips as taught and learnt from makeup pros world wide.

Got 3 matte lipsticks from MAC in Rubywoo, Diva and Yash and trust me all these are from Back To MAC policy. Gave away some of those horrible Mineralize eyeshadows and Mineralize skin finishes which somehow caught fungus when they were barely used. Returned them for lipsticks and made a promise to myself for not buying Mineralize eyeshadows even if they have the most alluring and hypnotizing colors ever.

Swatches of the Lip Pencils. Cynthia from Indian Vanity case was right. The Rouge Pencil of Bourjois does resemble MAC's Ruby woo and can be good partners in crime when needed to be used together.,

Swatches of the 3 MAC Lipsticks

Let me also declare another thing that I am not a huge fan of MAC Lipsticks for some awkward and unknown reasons. I would always choose Max Factor, Lancome, Clinique and Revlon over MAC but these three colors and some more like Mehr, Pink Plaid and some more mattes really wooed me. So lets see there might be some more to come. I am going to choose matte formulas as the SA from MAC told me that they are the longest lasting and after using a Kryolan Lip Fix (which is NEW and in my bride vanity) they really lasted very long especially dark colors like Diva did not really bleed. I am quite amazed.

These are some ELIZABETH ARDEN Color Intrigue single eyeshadows. I really loved the colors for being a bit unconventional and would be buying some more for GIVEAWAYS too. The color smoke is reminds me of MAC's Mothbrown which I really raved and would be one color that I would repurchase if given a chance. The color Ember is a blackened brown with sophisticated sparkle, Limelight is a duo chrome light green with white sheen, Sparkle is a subtle light peach with load of shimmer and is similar to MAC's Shore Leave while Fizz is a gorgeous light coral shade that spells summer all over (although it can be paired for winter smokey eyes too). These are for 1050 INR each.

Have a look at the pencils first. Got Boujois 16 Hr lasting Khol and Contour pencils. I have been using these all the while and they are my beauty staples for blogs as well as work. Just got a Plum, Dark Teal and Navy Blue (these are not their names) for some additional coloring and popping out my regular Ultra Black shade.
If you are a big fan of these pencils they make an ultra long one (similar in size to the NYX long pencils) which are economical and worth the price.

Also got 2 NYX Long pencils which primarily will be used for shoots and not bridals. They are simply not long lasting and I would use them only to stain the lash line and I just got them for Rs.100 INR so couldn't resist.

Got the Laura Mercier Powder eye liner for GIVEAWAY (oops I spilled it out) from www.strawberrynet.com. I have another one as I bought two for the price of one and have used it in one of my tutorials HERE. Got another Maybelline Color Tattoo in Eternal Gold and shall be buying them on and off for work and for gifting.

2 Lovely mascaras - MAC's Zoom Lash in New Hue from Beth Ditto collection and Clinique High Lengths mascara in Black which I repurchased.

Two of these amazing Uroparis lashes which I feature at times on my blog. They look really natural, blend in with the lash line and make eyes stand out subtly. Kryolan Eye lash glue for my tutorials as it is not very stunning and lashes may fall off.

Lastly some of these amazing Kryolan Sable brushes which trust me are 1/10th th price of MAC brushes that is 135 Rs. onwards and very very very good. I used them for a bridal recently and did not feel the need to touch MAC and my other expensive tastes.

These are brushes in a CLOSE UP and don't they look amazing. All the brushes from the liner to the small dome brush, all are really nice and one must pick these up as they match the prices of Vega but are a million times better.

From the products not listed here and yet were purchased at this time only are -
  1. Christian Dior Forever Flawless perfection Fusion wear foundation in 030 - to be reviewed soon
  2. Kryolan Ultra foundation shade in DO. Shall review when I get the full palette
  3. Kryolan Lip Fix
  4. Maybelline Falsies lash mascara
  5. NYX Long Pencil in Chocolat
  6. More Kryolan brushes

And presenting a small glimpse of Cookie my cute little dog who looks a bit scary with flash on and is actually scared due to Diwali fireworks outside. But he is usually very bubbly and naughty and does give us a tough time when he's playing around. He is the best dog we ever got and understands Marathi and English language  and all what we talk to him. And for anyone curious to know, he's a sweet little medium sized German Shepherd (nearing 2 yrs old and yet a puppy for me) and is double coated (which means shedding all the time) and is as soft as a cushion. I was told by a lot of people that Cookie is name of a girl (there's a Punjabi boy in my building with a pet name Cookie though) so to make it more boyish we call him Cookie Kumar (LOL)...

This is all to say. Hope you liked the haul. Soon shall be featuring YSL Wet and Dry quad eyeshadow palette which I am lusting after.

Till then,

Ciao

Seriously, though he looks adorable and not really scary :D
