Bride on - Makeup Preps

I have done a lot of bridal makeups recently and I shamelessly admit that either I didn't have time to click the photos or else I forgot to take my camera with me. But with Megha (the bride featured), the story was completely different.

Since I had already done the trials, I exactly knew what I wanted to do and just got the products that we had planned to use for the entire 5 day bridal function. Although its on right now, I have got a day's break and my palms were itching to post the looks that I did yesterday and today.

Before I post the pic of the bride and the look that I did for her Sangeet, let me share the picture of the products I used. They are almost the same in all the looks as Megha wanted simple, clean makeup with a hint of color everywhere. Mind you that the flash exaggerated the colors but in natural and dim lights Megha did look like there was no makeup on.

This is all the makeup that I used.....see details and bridal makeup looks in the upcoming posts.....................

Since we had pre-decided on what is going to be used, I can proudly say that this is the first time I have packed so less in my entire makeup career....LOL

FACE
  • Kryolan Supra Foundation Palette
  • Kryolan Ultra foundation palette
  • Christian Dior Forever Flawless Perfection Fusion Wear foundation SPF 25
  • Kryolan Translucent Powders in TL1, TL4 and TL9
  • Smashbox Photofinish Light Primer JUMBO size
  • Makeup Forever Corrective Base in Green
  • Kryolan Surgiva Skin Refreshing spray
  • Kryolan Dermacolor Makeup fixing spray

CHEEKS
  • Benefit POP Palette - Dandelion, Dallas and Hoola

  • BH cosmetics Jenni Rivera Palette
  • Estee Lauder Platinum Powder highlighter
  • NARS Orgasm Illuminator

EYES

This I always tend to carry a lot of eyeshadow palettes for having last minute fixes. There are a lot many eye pencils, eye liners etc but I shall be only telling the brands and any specific ones that I used from these palettes.
  • MAC customized palette with MAC and Inglot colors and also Stila Bronze stuck in them. From MAC I have Brown Down, Sable, All That Glitters, Woodwinked, Smut and Cork....Other Inglot ones are nice to but don't know the numbers since I see the color and I have stuck them with eye lash glue.
  • Urban Decay Naked Palette
  • Lancome Hypnose Waterproof mascara
  • Maybelline Falsies lashes waterproof mascara
  • Eye liners from VOV, Ikonic, Lancome and Bourjois
  • Maybelline Eye studio Gel Liner
  • MAC Antiquitease palette
  • Lancome eyeshadow palettes in Chic and Fleur De peau
  • BH cosmetics 28 eyeshadow palette
  • BH cosmetics Jenni Rivera Palette
  • MAC pigment samples in Vanilla and Blue Brown

LIPS

I took a hell lot of lipsticks and let me highlight a few which were in the line up to be used.
  • MAC Lipsticks in Kinda Sexy, Ruby woo, Yash and Diva
  • Maybelline 14 HR lipsticks in Keep Me Coral, Ultimate Blush and Lasting chestnut. (Got 2 to review as well LOL)
  • Estee Lauder Signature Lipstick in Mocha
  • Kryolan Lipsticks in unknown shades and irritating numerical system which I would never remember
  • Clinique Chocolate Raspberry lipstick
  • Lancome L'Absolu rouge lipstick in Rose (something)

Thats all what I used. This is the first time I could even list what I had taken. Then there were a lot of brushes and accessories and of course my signature baby wipes for cleansing and clean hands and all. Since the bride had sensitive skin we could only use Clarins Beauty Repair Serum and Clinique Moisture Surge moisturizer and Solar Smart Sunscreen.

Hope you liked this post. The subsequent posts will be of the bridal makeup.....so do keep reading...

Till then,

Ciao
