June Favorites....

This June I haven't really found time to do a lot of beauty travelling as I do normally. The monsoons are all out there and these months are generally uneventful due to all the hydro-chaos (new term coined my for all the chaos caused by water and yet cannot be called floods). Mostly I stay home and all the other days I am in association with a production house and helping creating some wonderful concepts.

Amidst this, I have been doing some research on what has newly launched and what products can be good enough to be bought. So here is what is going on in my mind......

I got this mascara as it is the European and Asian version of the Covergirl Clump Crusher mascara. I have always had mixed emotions about the Max Factor False Lash effect series of mascaras. They are amazing if they seen from a certain point of view. I call them as 'wearable' mascaras because they amplify the lashes but do not make them look out of the world or completely mesmerizing like how Dior or YSL or my favorite Guerlains do. This mascara does volumize and define but it does not hold the curl well....and of course it does not cause mascara clumps even after 15 coats. I said on FB that day that 15 coats of this mascara cannot beat 2 coats of YSL Faux cils and seeing price wise, then the latter is twice the price of the former.
This is a decent mascara and one has to use an eye lash curler to make it go fabulous.

YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat foundation

This is the foundation that I am looking at now a days. I am trying my friend's BD50 shade and trust me I was complimented for my glow by an actor. Its not bad for guys to wear foundation, it should just look seamless and enhance the features and this is what this foundation did. The shade range is enormous and you would find one for yourself. They sell it at YSL Retail counters all over the country for 3200 INR and mine is coming soon.

Finally the much talked about CC cream is here and it sells for 2000 INR. They do not have all the shades right now and thats the reason I could not pick up my 'Medium' shade. The CC cream is a much more promising, lighter version of BB cream and does it all but a bit more than what a BB cream would do. I will be able to review it when I grab one soon.

Clarins is running so lucrative offers on their makeup ranges and have amazing offers running. Since this is not to be disclosed on Social Media Networks if anyone is interested to get their hands on their magnificent makeup, please inbox me on FB or email me.

This does look like a tooth brush for brows but is really fantastic and does a great job at grooming brows, especially bushy and unruly unwaxed one like mine...LOL....This also helps remove any foundation or powder debris on brows and helps the brows set better.

I have a lot of stuff that I am putting on posts (unable to do due to time constraints) so do keep reading.

Till then,

  1. Hey Neeraj... how do you fin YSL Touch Eclat foundation during this humid season? Do you recommend it for oily skin? I have heard a lot of good things about this foundation and really want to try this soon. :-D

    1. The foundation is great for combination skins..very dewy...and quite long lasting...loved it.

  2. How does the YSL Teint Touch Éclat compare with the Lancôme Teint Miracle? I love the radiant dewy glow that the Teint Miracle gives and if this one does the same, then I'd love to try it out.
What promos does Clarins have on makeup? The new makeup collection has gorgeous packaging. Love the eyeshadow trio palette too.

    1. Ysl touche eclat foundation grabs light subtly and beautifully due to a very different looks very teint miracle has a bit of shimmer that is very noticeable...both r good in their own ways...for clarins info please mail me...thanks a ton for commenting...
