Review : Guerlain Rouge G De Guerlain in Geisha

Another fabulous lipstick I picked up from the house of Guerlain and cannot stop raving about. If you have been reading my blog for a while you may have stumbled upon some reviews of Guerlain Rouge Gs. All of them have been equally amazing and alluring. The formula is so above all the other ones that I have tried on clients and its simply the BEST purchased lipstick ever.

Guerlain Rouge G in Geisha maybe the perfect red you have always hunted for. I shall be writing a lot of quick reviews instead of detailed ones as there are many to come.

So lets have a look at Geisha...

A jeweled compact with an inbuilt mirror maybe one of the quintessential criteria to buy this lipstick, but I bought this one simply for the color. Its a rich red with a hint of orange that makes it vibrant but still retains the red color. It has micro fine coppery shimmer that adds richness to the texture of the lipstick without being too visible. The micro shimmer adds a 3 Dimensional effect to the lips and does not look gaudy or feel gritty.

Its this typical Geisha red which looks stunning on pale complexions. This does look lovely on darker complexions but the coppery shimmer and orange tint of the lipstick may show through giving it a very vibrant color. This one does look different on different complexions.

The lipstick does have a fantastic sheen but is very very pigmented and lasts really long. The suppleness of the formula comes from a mixture of Mango Butter and a lot of lip conditioning products. The Ruby Powders give a great intensity and dimension to the lips while hyaluronic acid beads help moisturize, hydrate and subtly plump up the lips.

What do you need more from a lipstick? Its got everything. Temptalia has a fabulous review of this btw.

PRICE

I got this one for 2025 INR from Shoppers Stop Juhu. They are available at selected Guerlain counters across Shoppers Stop and Parcos stores in the country.

Hope you liked the review. Do let me know in the comments.

Till then,

Ciao
