Review : Guerlain Rouge G de Guerlain Lipstick in GALIA

I do have some pending reviews of Guerlain lipsticks and I didn't open them till yesterday to take pictures and put the reviews. If you haven't read any of them before please click on the links below :-
Luckily these posts have helped a couple of my lovely readers and friends to go and buy these and I am happy they did as these are one of the best formulations in the market.

Today I shall be reviewing the lipstick called GALIA....I was looking for a perfect rosy pink with a subtle nuance of beige so that it does not go over the top and look mesmerizing when paired with plum eyeshadows and looks like I found one.....

FORMULA

This is an amazing one. The lipstick has a perfect slip and glides ever so smoothly on the lips dousing them good levels of moisture and hydrating comfort. The Ruby Powders in the lipstick make the color rich and vibrant (even though its a nude) and the color stays afresh for a time longer than other lipsticks. This is one of the nicest nudes I have ever picked up as it has the colors from 2 color families and the pairing is just simply amazing. The Hyaluronic acid beads help plump up the lips and have conditioning effect. This conditioning effect is enhanced with Mango Butter and other nourishing ingredients. What the lipstick only lacks is SPF!!

COLOR

I would describe this as a lovely medium rosy pink with beige tones. It has a lot of shine but not any noticeable shimmer (the ruby powders may be very finely milled). On lips it glides like butter just as other Rouge Gs do and stays on 3-4 hrs (tested on my trustworthy mother). The lips feel moisturized and comfortable even after the lipstick wears off.

PRICE

A 3.5 gm lipstick costs 2025 INR. I bought mine from Shoppers Stop in Juhu.

AVAILABILITY

This is more of an unsung hero of Guerlain when people generally opt for darker or brighter colors from expensive brands. Nevertheless its a unique and a very beautiful color. It may be easily available on the Guerlain counter.

Hope you liked this quick review. Do let me know in the comments.

Till then,

Ciao
