My Makeup WISH LIST

People have been buying from Sephora left-right-center and I am the one who is brooding on the fact that I cannot lay my hands on anything (also translates as no money, bankruptcy and no one to get the products). This article is for those who want to shop from Sephora and may have missed some quirky and lovely products. These products are from the most visited 'What's new' section of Sephora and look quite interesting albeit customer reviews.

DISCLAIMER : -

I have got some weirdos emailing me on providing the client who has given these links. This disclaimer is for those nosy people. I do not endorse and am not linked with Sephora in any manner. The links provided in this post are only for references and are not affiliate links. Beauty Traveller has not received any compensations for publishing this post. I hope this information clears the fog. And in case it doesn't then please make your way to my SPAM folder.

So lets see what's happening beyond the jump break.........

Tarte Cosmetics - The Slenderizer Bamboo Contouring Brush

Tarte is known for some innovative products and this is no less than a miracle in a brush. LOL. If you love contouring and highlighting then this is an essential brush for you to try. This brush is super affordable at 28$ and I am sure it will go a long way.

Hourglass Cosmetics - Ambient Lighting Blush

With the Ambient lighting powder being such a hit, this blush makes a lot of promises and keeps some of them too. Some smarty bloggers have purchased this and I am really hoping to meet one of those interesting people so that I can check the product. I believe that Hourglass cosmetics is an extremely overrated brand and love to stick to some of the unsung heroes of the makeup world (shall have a post on them soon). This retails at 35$.

Bite Beauty Deconstructed Rose Lip Gloss Library

Bite Beauty is such an amazing brand. I have tried it before and the product pay off is excellent. They make food grade lip products that are nourishing and protecting with some really pretty and wearable colors. This is one of those quintessential lip gloss set that completes the makeup wardrobe and they have a gloss for every occasion. Its a must try product and worth while one for 49$.

Bobbi Brown CC Cream SPF 35

In the bandwagon of CC creams, Bobbi Brown has released their formula and is none like others. With color correcting agents that enhance the complexion, this is one product that seems to do miracles on the skin (makeup wise). The SPF is an added bonus to the price of $44. Although I feel there could be better products in the market including my new favorite Kate Somerville CC cream that my friend Prerna got for herself through an interesting guy named Irfan. I shall post the details of Irfan on my FB page in case anyone wants to order for any products from Sephora.

Laura Mercier Flawless Color Favorites

This has some really nice and basic essentials for face, eyes and lips. I love these travel size products as you can try a variety of products at lesser price and not worry about the product not getting over. These bring immense versatility in trying many products and sometimes help in the introduction to the brand. Most of them are available in full sizes that can be purchased individually. Sounds convincing, isnt it? Especially at 85$ (LOL)

Buxom Full Bodied Lip Gloss Collection - Nudes And Brights

Buxom is known for their deliverance of amazing quality products at affordable rates. Their lipsticks are amazing and very pigmented and their glosses are incredibly shiny and good for the lips. This one is for $32 and a shiny addition to the already over flowing gloss collection. I loved the 'Nudes' from the collection as its not so easy to find the perfect shade.

Laura Mercier Enlightenment Eye and Cheek Palette

Laura Mercier makes 'wearable chic' products and products that are for a typical day to day woman who has a lifestyle revolving around her office and work. These do add a bit of fashion and a dash of shimmer but nothing too provocative. Laura did understand the subtlety of life and how makeup can be a means of provocation (LOL). They sell for 55$.

Sephora PANTONE Radiant Femme Artistry Set

This is for those radiant orchid aficionados. I have seen some bloggers going gaga over this trend and thank them from the bottom of my heart for sparing us the atrocities for a longer time. Finally Sephora has the radiant orchid collection to add to the fun (misery) and they sell these for a whopping 75$. I can't say whether its worth it, but can say that its interesting....

Guerlain Maxi Lash -Waterproof

Finally my favorite mascara has come in a bride appropriate water proof formulation. Its simply perfect!! $30....

Sephora Lift OFF Lash Comb

My mascaras clump even after being clump free formulations. Lash combs are one of the most essential tools one needs to have and this one look very cute at just 10$.

Givenchy Rouge Interdit MAGIC Lipstick

Ooh la la!! Another magic lipstick!! Lol...I have used their magic kajal and didn't see any magic except magical vanishing of cash from the wallet. This black lipstick transforms into a customized berry colored stain. Do you need it? Especially at 32$

Smashbox Cosmetics Santigolden Age Eyeshadow Collage

It looks like the hood of a cobra. So interesting and I presume the quality to be really good considering Smashbox's heritage (in creating duds). They sell this priced possession for 36$ and it looks too good to be used. I hope everyone is hearing Guerlain Terre Indigo!!!

Dr. Jart + Pore Medic Pore Minish Primer

If you need a primer, you can trust this brand blindly. They have a superb range of BB creams and some very interesting formulations. I am sure this is going to be a fantastic one amongst a plethora of products available in the market. 32$ is super affordable for the miracles this brand can do.

Smashbox Cosmetics 24 HR Photofinish primer

This product has 5 star rating and looks very promising unlike its predecessor which was a complete bummer in all aspects. I cannot part with my LORAC Behind The Scenes eyeshadow primer though. Not bad for 20$.

Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Stick

This may revolutionize the world of foundations. With skin correcting pigments and much added transparency this is a fresh take on Bobbi's legendary foundation sticks. What I love is the versatility of this product and I hope it lives upto the expectations of a regular Bobbi user. At 44$ this is a pricey yet worth it affair.

Beauty Blender ROYAL Beautyblender

The egg has got a royal touch. If you have ever used a Beauty Blender you'd know how amazingly famous this product is. I am dreaming of IMATS and how cheap this product would cost there. I am fretting over the 19.95$ mark as of now. This sponge is good for blending foundations, concealers and other face products

NARS Matte Multiple

The reason that this product is so overrated is because of its performance (and PR that a lot of international bloggers received). Such a wonderful product NARS multiple is and now it comes in a matte formulation. I hope Shiseido is happy as they must be missing their Accentuating Sticks. I specially love and want this color called Vientiane and Laos. These are the must haves for a perked complexion all year long (of course under a powder). They retail for 39$.

Marc Jacobs Beauty Re(marc)able Full Coverage concealer

MARC JACOBS is a remarkable man himself and his extensive line of fashion includes a successful line of beauty and fragrances. This concealer is one of their promises to the beauty world and is incredibly popular. I need to know why soon....Its a 32$ worth dent.

Guerlain EYE BROW Kit

This product from the Maison Guerlain launches in India soon but I am still drooling over this image from Sephora. It is the perfectly tailor made essential brow powder kit and given the legendary and innovative formula, I believe this to be a perfect eyeshadow quad too. Brows be happy!!

Kat Von D Esperanza Eyeshadow Palette

I have no words to describe my long distance love for Kat Von D Products. I have longed for them for the longest time ever and I love the art elements that she puts into her collections. For those who are nonchalant, Kat Von D is a very very famous tattoo artist. At 36$, this palette does have a story to tell.

CLARISONIC Mia

And the last one to talk about is the Limited Edition Clarisonic Mia Hollywood Edition which I really want. I have read so much about these products, that I need one pronto. It sells for a whopping 150$ and I hope Clarisonic hears our plea and comes to India soon.

Saying all this, there was too much of drool around my laptop already....What are your Sephora favorites? What did you plan to buy from Sephora and how did your plan go haywire when you entered Sephora?

Do let me know in the comments.

Till then,

Ciao

  5. How I wish I could say that I had an incredible experience and that it was everything I thought it would be..but sadly it wasn't... The first time I entered a Sephora was the one in Delhi.. and I was so saddened by the lack of products.. almost everything was out of stock!!! I really wanted to get my hands on some Benefit products but everything that I wanted was out of stock! The same with Stila, Nyx, Soap & Glory. I haven't been back there again but I really do hope for a better visit next time around.

P.s. My wishlist includes the Lorac Pro palette, Bobbi Brown blush in Apricot, Ysl Rouge Volupte lipsticks, etc, etc! Lol
